ABSN Prerequisites
Before enrolling in our ABSN program, you must satisfy seven prerequisite requirements. ABSN prerequisites lay the foundation for program success and are essential to nursing career preparedness. Please be aware that the time it takes to complete these prerequisites is separate from the 16-month time frame of our ABSN program.

STAT 231 | Introductory Statistics | 4 credits |
NUR120 | Nutrition in Healthcare | 1 credit |
*You must complete these courses within six years of your ABSN program start date.
Prerequisite Requirements
- Earn a grade of B- or higher in each course
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Courses must be completed at a regionally accredited institution
Transfer Credits
Depending on your previous field of undergraduate study, you may have already satisfied some of our ABSN prerequisites. Your admissions representative can tell you if any past credits are transferable.
