ABSN Admission Overview

If getting into nursing school is what you want, our 16-month ABSN program allows you to start your education as soon as possible. If you meet our ABSN admission requirements, you can apply for a start date in February, June or September.

You need a minimum of 60 non-nursing college credits with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 to begin our ABSN admissions process. Before we admit you into the program, you must also satisfy our ABSN prerequisite requirements.

Our School of Nursing reviews applications for each term on a rolling basis, meaning we evaluate applications upon arrival rather than waiting for the submission deadline. As a result, we can provide you with an admission decision within weeks instead of months.

The National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) is how registered nurses receive their licensure and start their nursing careers, which is why it is important to consider a program’s NCLEX pass rate. This helps indicate how well a program prepares its students to take the NCLEX.
